Salt Lake City Gets New One of a Kind Shopping Mall
Opening March 22nd 2012, City Creek Center is Salt Lake City’s newest attraction. It covers two downtown blocks, right in the heart of the city. Anchored by a flagship Nordstrom and Macy’s, City Creek Centre will feature an incredible line up of approximately 80 stores and restaurants Over 30% of these stores have never come to Salt Lake City before. All the shops and eateries are connected seamlessly by an elegant glass sky bridge over Main Street. Incredible highlights of City Creek Center also include:
- two 18 foot waterfalls,
- 3 unique fountains made by the same creators of the famed Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas,
- and a 1200 foot long creek winding through the Center.
Two of the fountains also have fire displays! But the most impressive feature of all has to be the retractable skylight. City Creek Center is the only shopping center in all of the US that has this feature.
